It’s almost time for the 2017 London Jam and 10th Annual 50-Hour Improvathon at Wilton’s Music Hall! Hosted and produced by the Olivier Award-winning musical improvisation group The Showstoppers and co-produced by Something For the Weekend and Extempore Theatre

Don’t forget to book tickets for one, two or all of our brilliant shows performing in the Jam! They are:

Monday 16 January
7.30pm: The glorious Austentatious! An Improvised Jane Austen Novel.
9.15pm: Lights! Camera! Improvise! from Olivier Award winners Mischief Theatre.

Tuesday 17 January
7.30pm: The Glenda J Collective starring Pippa Evans, Ruth Bratt, Josie Lawrence and Cariad Lloyd.
9.15pm: Almost Ibsen from Oslo's fantastic Det Andre Teatret.

Wednesday 18 January
6pm. 7.15pm and 9.30pm for the final!: The Ken Campbell Caper Competition, featuring groups from around the UK and our international guests battling it out for improv glory!

Thursday 19 January
7.30pm: Toronto’s finest, The Sufferettes featuring acclaimed improvisers Becky Johnson and Kayla Lorette.
9.15pm: And finally, also from Canada, Improvised Dungeons and Dragons starring the fabulous Mark Meer as the Dungeon Master and Alan Cox, Adam Meggido, Dylan Emery, Paul Foxcroft, Kayla Lorette, Jamie Cavanagh as the Player Characters.

Friday 20 – Sunday 22 January
The week culminates in the London 50-Hour Improvathon. Tolkien meets George RR Martin this year’s hilarious improvised comedy soap opera running the entire weekend: LORD OF THRONES!
Join us for one or two episodes, or indeed the lot! And don’t forget there’s also a family episode at 11am on Sunday 22nd January.


The London Jam also includes some great workshops for everyone - those brand new to the world of improv and also for seasoned pros.

Monday 16th January -
Join Pippa Evans for 'Improv Your Life', a full day's workshop exploring how we can all use a little improv to enhance our day-to-days. Book here.

Wednesday 18th January -
Becky Johnson from Toronto's The Sufferettes leads 'Connection, Play & Experiment', a half-day session for experienced improvisers looking to challenge themselves and develop new skills. Book here.

Thursday 19th January -
Andrew Pugsley and Duncan Walsh Atkins of The Showstoppers lead a full day's 'Introduction to Improvised Musical Theatre' for experienced improvisers looking to get into musical improv and confident performers interested in trying improv for the first time. Book here.
