Cancel all plans, get a baby-sitter, acquire a baby and book early as GTI draws together three men who live and breathe impro. Also nitrogen.
Look up the word Impro in the Thesaurus and, at the top of the list, you'll find the following three names. If yours is a sexist Thesaurus.
David Shore – Canadian Comedy Award Winner - Second City Mainstage player and teacher, now Impro(v) Guru here in London. All three members of GTI are also in David’s group, Monkey Toast.
David Reed - One third of monster hit sketch team The Penny Dreadfuls, David has been on TV in such shows as Gary: Tank Commander, Fast and Loose, It's Kevin (which Phil was in too) and Father Figure.
Joseph Morpurgo – star of runaway Edinburgh smash Austentatious and his
own hit one-man shows Truthmouth and Odessa. Joe was one of londonisfunny.com’s ten performers to watch in 2013 and starred in Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse’s 50 Years of BBC2 project.
Come and see the Scissors, Stone and Paper of improvisation battle it out for equal supremacy in a breathtaking display of co-operation.
Phil Whelans will be there too. He doesn't get a picture.
Tickets: £5.50 online at grandtheftimpro.com/tickets or £7 on the door.
