Hello everyone and Happy New Year!Back in 2005 Ken Campbell was asked by Mark Rylance to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday at the Globe. In the show, actors would improvise scenes, competing for titles like 'best wounded messenger' or 'fastest soliloquy' - it was antic and hilarious and now it's coming back.
On Wednesday 18th Jan, MC'd by Adam Meggido and Sean McCann of the Olivier-award-winning Showstoppers, Grand Theft will be competing against Do Not Adjust Your Stage, Bristol Improv Theatre and the brilliant Canadian duo The Suffrettes.
We'll be on in the first heat at 6pm - and if we get through, the final is at 9:15pm.
It's all happening at Wilton's Music Hall, one of London's oldest theatres and a bona fide historical treasure. If you've never been, it's worth coming just to see the place.
