Stop Press!! New Home Found For Orphaned Headline, "Doctor Whose Line Is It, Anyway?"

This week at...

The Wheatsheaf,
25 Rathbone Place,
London W1T 1JB. (Tottenham Court Road tube)

Tickets: £5.50 online at grandtheftimpro.com/tickets or £7 on the door.

Grand Theft Impro welcomes two top-flight guests...

Dan Starkey is Commander Strax, the Sontaran with a head like a conker, in something called Doctor Who. He’s also been in The Sarah Jane Adventures and Wizards vs Aliens and he put in a memorable turn in the award-winning Inside No. 9. Onstage he’s been in the brilliant The 39 Steps and The Fitzrovia Radio Hour.

Niall Ashdown has improvised on TV in Whose Line is it Anyway? and Lifegame. He is a member of Improbable and Impropera and guests regularly with The Comedy Store Players. He’s acted in theatre shows recently for Told by an IdiotKneehigh and The Young Vic.

The "Doctor Whose Line is it Anyway?" headline has been without a home for at least a week now and is pleased to found a new temporary base here in a show featuring cast members from both shows. "You don't know how it feels to finally have a context," the headline wept.
Attempts to combine Science Fiction and Improvisation have met with varying degrees of success. Hopes of bringing together Drew Barrymore and Clive Anderson in a project called Whose Line is E.T. Anyway? were considered pointless and barely worth typing. Attempts to combine Science Fiction and Comedy have fared better, as exemplified by Neurotic New York-based Xenomorphic Comedian Woody Alien.
